Paid-up members receive a free subscription to the journal International Tax and Public Finance (6 issues per volume, including the supplementary issue with selected IIPF congress papers).
From 2011 on the IIPF offers its members not only free print subscription to the journal International Tax and Public Finance, but an additional electronic subscription, which is available in the respective membership year only. Members who wish to receive the printed version should communicate this to the IIPF Office.
Members are also entitled to participate in the Annual Congress at a reduced fee, and they receive the newsletters from the President of the Institute. Corporate members, in turn, pay five times the individual membership fee (i.e. € 300) and receive two free copies of International Tax and Public Finance.
- FinanzArchiv/Public Finance Analysis (FA), a rate of € 39 euros for a volume (four issues) including free surface mail, compared to a normal rate of € 179 plus postage.
- National Tax Journal (NTJ), a rate of US$ 65 for non-US and non-Canadian members for print version (four issues), compared to a normal rate of US$ 100/110 (NTA membership).
IIPF members who wish to subscribe to FA or NTJ should communicate this on the IIPF membership form. The member's details will be forwarded to the respective publishing house, and the member will be invoiced separately.
To become a member, completion of the application for membership form is required. Members are strongly advised to register no later than December 31st in order to secure their free subscription to the journal International Tax and Public Finance for the coming year, when their membership becomes effective. After registration, applicants will receive a confirmation email with instructions regarding payment of the corresponding membership dues. Applications for membership are accepted throughout the year, but delivery of International Tax and Public Finance will be subject to availability and in any case limited to those issues released after the date of membership admission. The same applies to an electronic only subscription of the journal: It is only available in the respective membership year.
New Members: Three-year IIPF membership costs € 180, and one-year membership € 120 (both reduced by 40 percent for members who are not yet 31 years old in the year or the years they acquire membership - € 108/€ 72). These prices apply only to new members.
Existing Members: Membership renewal fees for one year (January to December) are € 60 (€ 36 if under 31 years of age), while advance payment for a three-year period amounts to € 162 (€ 97,20 for members who are not yet 31 years old in the years they acquire membership). These fees for existing members only apply to persons who were paid-up members in the preceeding year.
