Members' Privileges
Paid-up members receive a free subscription to the journal International Tax and Public Finance (6 issues per volume), including the supplementary issue with selected IIPF congress papers.
From 2011 on the IIPF offers its members not only free print subscription to the journal International Tax and Public Finance, but an additional electronic subscription, which is available in the respective membership year only. Members who wish to receive the printed version should communicate this to the IIPF Office.
Members are also entitled to participate in the annual Congress at a reduced fee, and they receive three annual Newsletters from the President of the Institute. Corporate members, in turn, pay five times the individual membership fee (i.e. 300 euros) and receive two free copies of International Tax and Public Finance.
Members are furthermore entitled to substantially reduced subscription rates to FinanzArchiv / Public Finance Analysis (FA) and the National Tax Journal:
- FinanzArchiv / Public Finance Analysis (FA), a rate of 39 euros for a volume (four issues) including free surface mail, compared to a normal rate of 169 euros plus postage.
- National Tax Journal, a rate of US$ 60 for non-US and non-Canadian members for print version and Proceedings, and US$ 30 for electronic version and printed Proceedings, compared to a normal rate of US$ 95. This reduced rate applies solely to new NTA members.
How to Join
To become a member, completion of the application for membership form is required. Members are strongly advised to register no later than December 31st in order to secure their free subscription to the journal International Tax and Public Finance for the coming year, when their membership becomes effective. After registration, applicants will receive a confirmation email with instructions regarding payment of the corresponding membership dues. Applications for membership are accepted throughout the year, but delivery of International Tax and Public Finance will be subject to availability and in any case limited to those issues released after the date of membership admission. The same applies to an electronic only subscription of the journal: It is only available in the respective membership year.
