2018 IIPF Annual Congress

The 74th Annual Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance was held in Tampere, Finland, from August 21 through 23, 2018.

Its Local Organizing Committee was chaired by Kaisa Kotakorpi (VATT Institute for Economic Research and University of Turku, Finland). The Universities of Tampere and Turku, the VATT Institute for Economic Research and the Labour Institute for Economic Research co-hosted the event.

The Scientific Committee was chaired by Eva Mörk (Uppsala University, Sweden) and Claus Thustrup Kreiner (University of Copenhagen, Denmark).

The theme of the keynote speeches and panels was "The Impact of Public Policies on Labor Markets and Income Distribution". Contributed papers on any topic within the field of Public Economics and related disciplines were considered, as is traditional at IIPF congresses.
