IIPF Doctoral School 2016
In 2014 the International Institute of Public Finance has instituted a new initiative: an annual week-long IIPF Doctoral School for PhD students and recent PhD students. The aim is to provide a forum in which new researchers can meet to learn about and discuss issues at the forefront of academic research in specific fields of public finance. Each School will cover a different topic, and will be convened by leading and experienced researchers in the relevant field. New researchers will also have the opportunity to present their own research and receive constructive feedback. The third School took place from 15 to 18 June, 2016 in Mannheim, Germany at ZEW. Josef Zweimueller (Zurich) and Luigi Pistaferri (Stanford) gave lectures on “social insurance programs”. Learn more about the event: |
